Introduction:
Hello! Welcome to the October Edition of the Animal Safe Official Newsletter! This is the place where you can get the most information from our website! We have many different information here, ranging from latest news on animal testing, animal cruelty. Some fun facts you probably didn’t know. And to top it off, even some posters or activities that you can do! Thank you for all the support, all of us appreciate it!

Latest Information:
Most UK and EU cosmetics contain ingredients tested on animals
It turns out that hundreds of UK and EU’s cosmetic products contain ingredients that have been tested on animals despite being banned in the UK. Tests were performed on ingredients used in many different products from, sunscreen to lipstick and even hair conditioner. Mice and rabbits were tested on for the sake of the cosmetics.

EU could possibly bring back animal testing
One of EU’s rules could mean that they could possibly bring back animal testing. This could mean that animal testing has to be carried out on 150 cosmetic ingredients that are sold in the UK and are already known to be safe for use.

Did you know that each year, more than 110 million animals are killed in the US for research purposes? This includes mice, rabbits, frogs, dogs, cats and many other animals!

Did you know that every year in the US, NIH (National Institutes of Health) spend 47% of research funding on animal experimentation/testing!

Many animals are mistreated and get tested on. This happens around the world daily. We must stop this treatment towards animals because they have a life as well! Not only is animal testing bad for the animals, but it is also bad for the environment! The body of the animal is disposed of in the wrong way which causes a lot of chemicals and waste to fill the air
