Hello everyone,
Firstly, Animal Safe would like to thank you for your support! Without you, we wouldn't have reached over 600+ signatures on our petition! We have come so far, but I have unfortunate news ahead.
Animal Safe will be inactive. As you may know, Animal Safe is already inactive, and due to this, we will no longer be updating the website. As well as the website not updating, the newsletter will also be discontinued.
There have been many reasons leading to this. Last year, Animal Safe had only been a school project, and because of that, we had plenty of time to update, post articles, blogs and newsletters. After we completed out project, we realised that the horrors of animal testing wouldn't stop. We decided to extend it further onto our freetime.
Sadly, we lost contact with two of our members, meaning we were left with Oviya, Ananya, Leeza and me. We continued to post like usual, even updating the website at one point. But we didn't get much time to do so.
Some of the members had extracurricular activities, and some had extra homework. We tried our best to continue the website, but unfortunately, we were arguing over who had to make the newsletter and who would upload a blog. We were tired out from other things, that we didn't have time to work on Animal Safe.
This has been an amazing journey. Perhaps, in the future, we will be able to get back together again and form an even better website and petition. Our petition and website will stay up, but as mentioned, we will no longer be updating it. As for our petition, it will be inactive until we reach 1000 signatures. As promised, we will be sending an email to a company in hopes of them ending their cruel testings.
Thank you all,
Sincerely, Mia
